PAI Partners is seeking a motivated compliance trainee within the Luxembourg team ideally as soon as possible. The trainee will assist the compliance team in drafting/reviewing of various procedures and guidance notes.

The Corporate Operations Department team is responsible for the preparation of closing and funding of investment operations in collaboration with the deal teams as well as the administrative and financial monitoring of the AIFs and the AIFM.

Your responsibilities

You will assist the Legal team on the following tasks:

  • Drafting/updating of procedures and guidance notes
  • Collection of management information for the production of quarterly reporting, including design and production of Key Risk Indicators
  • Participation to AML/CTF related projects of the department
  • Drafting / updating documents datapack in relation with the Funds and assets owned by the Funds
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of Compliance training & awareness initiatives
  • Perform Compliance reviews under the supervision of the Conducting officer
  • Provide support with data protection activities and controls
  • Provide support with operational risks
Your Profile
  • You are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Law, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • Your internship is embedded on your educational program and mandatory for the obtention of your diploma
  • Fluency in English and French is essential. Additional languages would be considered an asset
  • Autonomous, with delivery focus, hands-on approach and able to work in an international environment
  • Enthusiastic team player and self-motivated
  • Able to cope with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of initiative, planning and organizational skills
  • MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is a must
